Leadership Team

President
James is responsible for the assessment, development and implementation of all production strategies for Xpress Financials Indirect lending operation. He oversees the day to day functions for field and internal sales, application processing/underwriting and contract funding with focus on building the Xpress Fiancial brand.

James has over 15 years experience in Consumer Finance Lending, management and collections. Prior to joining Xpress Financial in January 2008, James served as Vice President of Operations for Global One Funding. James spent the previous 7 years with Global One in the same capacity in Huntington Beach, CA . Previously James spent 13 years with Santander Bank, one of the largest independent auto lenders as Regional Vice President, Business Center Manager. He managed teams in Sales, Credit, Funding and Collections. James led units at Santander in Buying Center environment. With Santander, James was responsible for all functions related to indirect auto lending.

Scott Walls

VP Indirect Finance 
Scott came to Xpress Financial as a consultant in November of 2007 to assess the Collection and Origination system’s policies and practices. He was elected to the Board of Directors in December 2008 and became the Managing Director, the Board Member with day to day managerial responsibility, in January 2008.

Prior to joining the Xpress Financial Team, Scott consulted for several finance industry related firms. In 1992 Scott has extensive experience working in the automotive industry financing. His past experience included positions at Bank of America and Toyota Motor Credit

Christopher Mason

Vice President of Operations 
Christopher is responsible for managing the day to day collections operations through all stages of delinquency. Responsible for forecasting and meeting targeted delinquency and loss objectives, call strategy development, analyzing performance results and trends, development and training of current and future leaders and staff, maintaining and meeting budget requirements, implementing effective change management to meet collections, customer service and operational expectations.

Christopher has over 10 years of Default Management experience. Prior to joining Xpress Financial in September 2008, Christopher served for the past 10 years with Wachovia Bank in their Consumer Retail Banking Division. During his tenure at Wachovia Bank, Christopher’s responsibilities included serving as a Vice President in the Offshoring & Outsourcing Department, Transition Manager and as a Vice President in the Retail Credit Collections Department.

Linda Brown

Chief Financial Officer
Linda is responsible for all periodic financial reporting, operational accounting activities including customer payment processing and account adjustments, dealer funding and accounts payable, management of financing sources and costs, financial analysis, as well as managing and supporting information requirements for all external audits and regulatory and tax compliance.

Linda has over 17 years of corporate accounting, management, and public accounting experience. Prior to joining Xpress Financial in 2009, Linda most recently served as the Vice President of Finance for a Global Logistics Company, one of the nation’s largest public transportation companies. Linda served as a financial executive with that Company for eleven and a half years, extensively as a divisional controller prior to his promotion to Vice President of Finance.

Michael Lyons

Chief Information Officer
As CIO of Xpress Financial, Michael strives to increase efficiency and enhance customer service through technology innovations.

Michael brings years of technology management experience in the subprime auto finance industry to this position. He has worked through various roles in systems, database, and network and project management in his 12 years in the industry. James Lyons in1995 achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
